Our History

Dr. Tom Tallon opened Sunset Point Animal Hosptial in 1976 in its current location. In 1992, Dr. Richard Brutus purchased the practice and immediately hired Dr. Kevin Conrad as an associate. The two doctors chartered the first spay and neuter program for the Humane Society of North Pinellas. Soon after Dr. Conrad began working with Dr. Brutus, their working relationship flourished and Dr. Conrad became a partner in the practice. In 1997, Dr. Conrad became the sole proprietor. Satisfied clients and pets allowed
Dr. Conrad to expand the clinic in 2008 from a two exam room hospital to a five exam room hosptial. In 2011, Dr. Chris Freeman moved from Ohio to purchase the hosptial and work with Dr. Conrad during his "partirement".  Dr. Freeman and Dr. Conrad continue to gain knowledge and expertise in their field to provide their clients with the best information and service.
