We recommend a full set of puppy and kitten appointments to get their vaccines done, but more importantly, to teach owners what they need to keep their pet in good health for many years.  For adults, we recommend once to twice yearly exams depending upon the age and health status in order to catch problems early and recommend how to care for your pet in each life stage.

If your pet is sick, we try to see them the same day you call.  You know your pet best, so if they are not normal, call us and we can help you figure out if they need to be seen.

We recommend medications to prevent heartworm, intestinal parasites, and external parasties (like fleas, ticks, and mites). 

Core and Non-Core vaccines are available.  We tailor vaccine schedules to each individual.  Not all pets get  the same vaccines.

 We highly recommend routine dental cleanings to keep the mouth in good shape.  If there are problems in the mouth or with the teeth, we will recommend the best course of action for your pet.  More than half of all pets have problems in their mouth and just suffer in silence.  We can help them!

We generally recommend cats and dogs be spayed before their first heat cycle, and neutered at an appropriate time.  Always speak to the doctor before scheduling these surgeries to make sure it is the right decision for your pet.

We do many types of orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. 

For some surgeries, we use a Radiosurgery device which uses high frequency radio waves to do the cutting.  This vaporizes cells similar to a laser, and can reduce pain, swelling, and recovery time. 

We can harvest adult stem cells from your pet, culture them, and readminister them to your pet in order to help them heal from various diseases.  This new therapy is a very exciting part of our clinic!  See the Stem Cell Therapy page for more info.

If appropriate, Dr. Freeman can come out to your house to see your pet.  This is a great convenience when you don't want to come into the clinic, or have many pets you would like to have seen at the same time.  See the House Call page for more info.

Our technicians can often help you with nail and foot care, ear cleaning, weight consultations, and other issues which do not require a doctor's input.  This allows you to get your questions answered, get one on one attention, but also keeps the cost down when you don't need a doctor's attention.
